There is a lot of sadness that I feel at times because of my sin. It disgusts me. So in dealing with it, I let my emotions feed on its unhealthiness. I promise myself each day that I will do better than the day before. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I do not. It’s a constant battle. But at the end of the day, I am human. And when I am not being led by the Holy Spirit, I fail. Every. Single. Time.

But then I remember this…

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5

In all of my daily walking; in all my sin and failed attempts to be more like Christ; I have HOPE that surrenders me from any guilt, shame, and my imperfections. In Jesus Christ, I can rejoice in the truth that I am redeemed! I am saved. Hallelujah 🙌🏻

This is the reason I can LIVE with a smile on my face, and with joy in my heart. I can LIVE knowing I am free from any past, present, and future mess-ups. No matter what this world throws at me, and no matter what I regrettably contribute to it, I have Jesus Christ LIVING inside of me!

That is love, friends!

Jesus is calling YOU! See and experience what He can, and will do, in YOUR life today. He has changed mine, and He wants to change yours, too!
